PIERRE AUDIGER

Pierre Audiger is a pianist, composer and actor trained at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and at Cochet-Delavène acting school in Paris. Pierre studied composition under the tutelage of Dave Fennessy (RCS) and was awarded the Walter and Dinah Wolfe prize for Composition in 2013 for his work "Not A Clown" premiered in Glasgow by violinist Ilya Gringolts.

 

Under direction of soprano April Koyejo he wrote the music of the operas "Moremi Ajasoro" and "Ayanfe" respectively premiered in 2015 in Glasgow and 2018 in London for the festival "Opera in the city" at Bridewell Theatre.

His works are regularly performed throughout Europe, at the Neamt Music Festival in Romania, the Morellino Classica festival in Italia where he several of his works were premiered. Pierre's music has been performed by internationally renowned artists such as Daniel Ciobanu, Pietro Bonfilio, Petras Geniusas.

Pierre is also a podcast Producer and directed two series featuring poetry by Charles Bukowski and Guillaume Apollinaire. He wrote stage music for two plays "Upp I Vindinn" and French classic "Britannicus".

Recent projects include musical direction for "Bubbles the Zebra Fish" performed at the Cockpit Theatre, writing music for "Dunewind" a London-based progressive-pop music project, as well as writing and performing "Piano" a one-man-show presented in two theatres in Paris over 2021 and 2022. His music is described as one of 'fire and imagination' presenting a "new and detailed language".
